Take it from anyone who has been involved with some sort of scam or fraud, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is, and you should turn around and get away from the scam as quickly as possible.  If you are a little bit weary of a certain transaction or company you might be doing business with, look them up on the web, and see if you can find some sort of rip off report.  A lot of times, if this company has been involved with scams and frauds in the past, people will get on the internet and try to spread that word as quickly as possible to make sure that other people know, so they do not get roped in as well.

Stay away from the email scams that you might get in your inbox.  These scams usually say something along the lines of wanting you to make s0ome sort of transaction from one bank to another and you will receive a large some of money as well.  If that does not catch your eye as a scam, this surely will.  In order for you to receive this money or do this transaction, you need to send the sender a sum of money before you move along with the transaction.  Stay away from scams like these, delete them, delete any sort of email that you are unfamiliar with, chances are, it is going to be an email fraud of some sort.

Another great way to spot a scam or a fraud is simply by being in tune with your instincts and your guts.  If you are feeling very uncomfortable with a certain proposal or something just not seem right, then walk away.  The best way to avoid a scam is by walking away before they even get a chance to pull you in.
